Our Story
Evans Companies grew out of Evan’s lifelong passion for working outdoors. Growing up in his family’s lawn care and snow removal business, Evan learned the value of servant leadership, hard work, and attention to detail. In 2017, he started his own landscaping company, and in 2021, he expanded into excavation, earthwork and demolition, creating a full-service business that serves residential, commercial and municipal clients.
Evan saw a need for a company that genuinely cares for its clients, and that attention to detail remains at the heart of everything Evans Companies does. They work with homeowners, builders, general contractors, cities, and counties, bringing the same attention to detail and dedication to every project – whether private or public. Evans Companies strives for excellence in all they do and pride themselves in building trusting relationships with their clients that last for years to come.

About Me
Evan Koehler
Evan Koehler grew up in Austin, MN, working alongside his family in their lawn care and snow removal business. From an early age, Evan developed a deep appreciation for equipment, craftsmanship, and the value of hard work. Summers were spent on the job sites with his dad operating equipment, riding in work trucks, and exploring the woods and creek near their home which rooted his passion for working outdoors.
Evan lives in Byron, MN with his wife Lauren, and their son Henry. Evan met Lauren after she moved from Tucson to Rochester to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Mayo Clinic. They got married in 2021 and welcomed their son Henry, in 2024.
